Yes a little, some people don't feel Freddie at all, and sometimes there might be a little pinch, but not for long so don’t be afraid.
HERE’S WHAT TO DO:
Be comfortable and when you are getting ready, choose where you prefer to sit — on someone’s knee, a chair or on your bed. Cuddle or squeeze your teddy. Try to relax and think of something else - try counting or playing a game
ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING.
If there is a play specialist on your ward, ask them to help you relax or talk to them about things to help distract you while you get your Freddie.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE MY FREDDIE FOR?
Your Freddie is taken out by a nurse when you don't need medicine or fluid that way anymore, before you go home.
